Jammin Java Battle of the Bands Finals

On Friday, February 26th, the final show of the 2016 Jammin’ Java Band Battle is taking place. Doors for the show in Vienna, Virginia are at 7 PM, with bands starting at 8 PM. Tickets are $10 in advance and $13 at the door. The show is all ages.
The battle started with over 60 applicants, and now there are only five bands left. Devin Clawson is a rock artist. Classified Frequency is a power pop band out of the DC area. Out on the Weekend is a garage rock group from Harrisonburg, Virginia. Delaplane is a group from Virginia whose music is a combination of folk, jazz, and rock. HTC is a relatively new band out of Arlington, Virginia, whose music is a blend of many different instruments.

The first place prize is $2,000, 10 hours recording at Cue Studios with Jim Ebert, a photoshoot from TD Wehle, an idobi Radio editorial piece, a Facebook makeover, 20 free shirts, 100 4 x 5” promo cards, and $100 of service work from Flippin’ Guitars.
The second place prize is one song in rotation on idobi Radio for one month, six hours in The Red Room with a staff engineer at Cue Studios, and a guitar setup from Flippin’ Guitars.

The third place prize is an on air interview with Fish of Gone Fishkin on idobi Radio and a guitar setup from Flippin’ Guitars.
All finalists will receive a professionally-written biography, live photos from Roxplosion, inTune picks, a feature in Dominion Collective, and a live song video via RichardFilms.
